Together with a delegation from Xuanwu Hospital, Ambassador Huang Xingyuan met with Fuad Khan ,Minister of Health on December 16th , exchanging views on the next-step bilateral cooperation on health and medical services.

Ambassador Huang stated that the current Medical Team from Xuanwu Hospital performed nearly a hundred operations and created many miracles in Trinidad and Tobago, the achievement of which is outstanding. The Chinese Government attaches great importance to bilateral cooperation on health and medical services and will further strengthen bilateral academic exchanges. For the composition of the next team, the Chinese Government will take full consideration of the needs of Trinidad and Tobago, and will send a team with strong technical power.

Minister Khan expressed the gratitude of the Trinidadian Government to the Chinese Government for supporting its health and medical care development, spoke highly of the dedication and skills of the Chinese doctors. He wishes that Trinidadian doctors can learn more from them and that they can make more friends in Trinidad.
