Together with a delegation from China Exim Bank, Ambassador Huang Xingyuan met with Vasant Bharath ,Minister of Trade, Industry, Investment and Communications, exchanging views on the progress of some important projects under the framework of Government Agreement and looking into future cooperation.
Ambassador Huang reiterated that the Chinese Government attached great importance to the Agreements and consensus reached between the Heads of the two States during the State visits, and has vigorously given impetus to promoting the projects under the Government Agreement Framework. The implementation of those projects will generate positive effects on bilateral relations, and further stimulate the economic, social and people’s livelihood development of Trinidad and Tobago.
Minister Bharath endorsed the Ambassador’s view and expressed gratitude for Chinese Government’s consistent support. He stated that the Trinidadian Government will ensure that the projects be implemented as scheduled with all-out efforts.
