On March 28th, H.E. Huang Xingyuan, Chinese Ambassador to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago met with the Hon. Timothy Hamel-Smith, President of the Senate at his residence. They had a friendly talk on bilateral relations and parliamentary exchanges between the two countries.

The President highly recognized China's development achievements, considered the exchange of visits between the leaders greatly promoted the development of bilateral relations,and wished the two countries further strengthen exchanges in tourism, culture and sports fields in the future, so as to promote in-depth development of bilateral relations and mutual understands between the two peoples.

H.E. Huang Xingyuan praised the Hon. President for his positive contribution to the friendly exchanges between the two countries,and expressed his willingness to work with the Trinidad and Tobago side to jointly promote bilateral relations to the next level.
