At the invitation of the newly-appointed Minister of National Security Gary Griffith, Ambassador Huang Xingyuan paid a visit to his office on September 27th.
Ambassador Huang congratulated Griffith on his new post, expressed sincere gratitude for the efforts made by the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on visits, visa facilitation and protection of the Chinese nationals in Trinidad and Tobago, and spoke highly of the fruitful cooperation between the two Governments in this regard.
Ambassador Huang exchanged views with Griffith on national security cooperation issues and agreed to strengthen such cooperation with the Trinidad and Tobago Government.
